Off to the PRINTER!!

The complete book - all 208 pages!!! is off to the printer. Below are just some snippets of the final print file -- with all the printer marks. We are very excited to finally get this out into the world -- and thank all of you for your incredible patience and support.

National Unicorn Day!

It's somewhat appropriate that today, National Unicorn Day is the day we can tell you that the book is complete. The final few pages are being colored as we write this. We have already given notes on the lettered proof for the last half of the book. We hope to have a print ready PDF by the end of next week that can head to the printers!
The End is just the beginning...
The scene above is the last frame of the book! It's been an amazing journey -- through a global pandemic no less -- and we have to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we labor to bring this book to life.
We are also looking for a few proofreaders for the PDF so we can find any mistakes before it goes to print. If anyone is a grammarian and wants to volunteer their services, please email us at [email protected] and you can be among the first to read the almost 200 page graphic novel.
Last but not least, we have been ordering all the amazing Unikorn merch and it has started arriving. Cool things like these holographic Unikorn stickers:

March Update!

Hey everyone --
We wanted to give everyone an update and a better timeline on delivery of the book. The Artist is finishing the final 6 pages of the entire book as we speak. The total page count will be close to 200 pages! So 98% of the art is done. The lettering and colors should be wrapping up in the next few weeks -- and the book will be FINISHED and ready to PRINT.

We don't have an exact timeline on printing yet -- but will definitely have the books in your hands this summer. Again, we greatly appreciate everyone's patience -- and do hope everyone feels that it was worth the wait for a books that was 2x as long. We will continue to keep you updated as we get closer and closer to delivery!

Happy Valentine's Day -- UNIKORN update

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I am happy to announce that all the layouts for the entire book have been completed -- it's almost 200 pages! Now it's just about the finalizing the art, coloring and lettering the end of the book. Our artist has brought on an inker to speed up the process and it's going like gangbusters.

This is the home stretch everyone. We should have the books off to the printer in the next 6-8 weeks. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding, we hope you will also think it was worth the wait.

Happy Holidays to all of our backers. We hope everyone is safe and well.
We have some new art to share from Rafael and a timeline update. We should have the book done and shipped by April. We are hiring an inker (or two) to help move things along faster, while maintaining the incredible quality and detail Rafael has been delivering. To illustrate what that means we have included two pages below to show what we mean. Rafael does the rough pages, sketching out the entire scene:
Then the inker goes over Rafael's work -- cleaning up the lines, adding detail and finalizing it. It takes a lot of time to do this, so by having an inker we should be able to greatly increase the rate of pages the artist can deliver per week.
We should start getting in our 'extras' soon which we will share with you guys as they arrive. We want to thank you all again for all your patience and faith. We do think everyone will be pleased with the final product -- an almost 200 page full color graphic novel!
